I just baught a 92 5.0 and it will not start i changed the plugs and coil. It is getting spark and fuel but will not start. any suggestions will help thanks bubba.
How did you confirm it is getting fuel?
Will it start with starting fluid?
Fuel, fire, and compression is what you need to run an engine.
If you are positive you have both fuel and fire, then compresson is all that is left.
A big part of compression is cam timing. Is it possible that the timing chain jumped?
well i checked the timing and it looked dead on. So i do not know what to do. I am thinking it might be the computer so my buddy is bringing his over tomorrow to try it. So i will see if that does it. I dont know if a sensor or something will keep it from cranking.
