Need Help

Hello fellow enthusiasts,
This is my first attempt at this and I need some help. I am trying to resurrect a 289 '68 Mustang coupe. I'm currently reassembling the rear end and can't remember how many gaskets were installed at the backing plate/axle housing when I disassembled it. Does it take one on each side of the backing plate or just one between the plate and the axle housing? Can anyone help me with this?

thanks for your reply and rear end diagram. I just got back into town and saw your reply. Sorry it took so long for me to reply. Your diagram helped a lot since this old geezer sometimes can't remember his own name.
