Ford motorsport intakes came with whatever lower intake was in production at the time. The lower is a 94 cobra engineering part number. Around 1997/8, Ford started shipping them with explorer lowers with the properly drilled out act and coolant ports. So likely, if that lower and upper are an original pairing, it was manufactured sometime around 1994-1998.
