Hi all, I've just purchased a 70 Mach 1 that is missing a couple of hard to find interior parts, and I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. I need the "window channels", the metal/chrome pieces that fit around the door/window frame that the weatherstripping fits into. Also, I'm looking for the plastic piece that goes over the headliner, and across the top of the windshield- in black if possible. Anyone have any ideas where I can find these pieces? NPD does not have them, and I was told by an interior restoration company that I'd need to find them off of a donor car. Thanks in advance.

The part I believe you're describing is metal on my '69. Did it change to plastic for 70?

I did a quick Google.com search for that name and came up with lots of hits. Maybe you could get in contact with this person before you go on a rant about them? I for one love to point out the bad apples, but be sure you give the person a chance to fix this issue before you start trashing their name. Then lets us know what happened, most times it is easily resolved. I hope you get the parts, I have a Mach also and parts can be hard to find but what you are looking for is pretty common. Good Luck.
