I need a 1971 to 1973 Mach 1, Boss 351, or a FastBack, it can be any color, BUT NO Red, White Or Blue

It is needed for this Sunday for a Ford Motor Co./American Idol Commercial

Where is the shoot at? I may be able to find a car or two.

A green 1972 Mach 1, and probably a Boss 351. But we are here in the East.

NO! NO! NO! your car will never work! The requirements were quite clear: They want 71-73 Sportsroof Mustangs, and yours is clearly a '69 Coupe!

On the other hand, you Meet the color requirements..... None of the colors in your car are red, white or blue!

I don't know.....I see a little red on the front discs! and I'd have them wax after they wash her!

Well there's, uhhhh.....GREEN! Yeah Highland Green, like in Bullitt - and the '68 GT500KR that I regularaly lust after (my F150 is almost that color!). And, ummmmm, sort of a metallic bronze color.... Ginger, like the Cougar hulk soon to been known as Battlestar Cleopatra in my garage.

What else? Wellllllll.... oh yeah! I noticed that the cowl on Aw4g63's car is the same color as the '67 sitting forlorn on severely weather-checked and long-flat tires around the block from my house.....the one the voices in my head say I should rescue from it's imprisonment and put back right as a counter-point to the Cougar. What's that color? Spring-Blossom Yellow or something? Springtime Yellow! Yeah, that's it!

And then...... gee, I don't know. Do they make cars in other colors.

EDIT: Yeah, I know; Aw4g63's car has a lot of primer gray on it. But, IMHO primer anything isn't really an automotive color - unless you have two monkeys and a really slimy football!

Actually, I know more about this now, seems this thread is local to Los Angeles area, and I think it is also too late, as the shoot for the show was already done. If my source is correct watch A.I. tonight (Wed).
