Well the 65 is in need of new leaf springs, and that's the extent of my knowledge on them. From what I know, there's a set of "support" springs on it right now since the leaves were in such bad shape. Can anyone tell me what I would need to completely replace them? I know i'll need new leaf springs (obviously) and U-bolts, but I'm lost as to what else I may need. Bushings, other misc. bolts, etc? I'm ready to make an order with NPD for them, and the guy I was talking to was no help. I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Also, is there any reason the power door lock actuators NPD offers couldn't' be hooked up to an aftermarket alarm? I have the alarm in, but no actuators, so those should work, right?

Go with Mustangs Plus. Their kit comes with everything you need. Their tech help is better than NPD's in my opinion.

First you need to decide what exactly you want to accomplish. Stock setup? Lowering?

Also, if your rear suspension is shot, odds are that your front is too...if you only replace the rear then your front end will still be worn out.....

Stock setup...my dad wants to keep the car as original as possible...

I don't think the front is in as bad of shape as the rear....he had the front redone a few years ago, from what I know...but the rear sags a lot, and like I said, the springs themselves are broken or rotted or something...

dido on Mustang Plus got mine in no time and they had everything you need to put it in. I know you want stock set up but I would suggest at least replacing rubber busings with midolyne (I think thats how it's spelled) they will last a lot longer.

Mustangs Plus kits are pretty much stock-type components, just beefed up somewhat. You can get a kit from them with give you the stock ride height, etc. I redid most of my suspension with M+ gear, and I'm happy with it/them.

I did my front and rear with kits from Mustang's Plus. Service was great and I love the way it rides now.
