Not sure ...but I have a '96 and thought mine were bad cause the one was squeaking really loud ...but I just got a grease needle for my grease gun and kind worked the needle over the top of the rubber into it and filled it up... didnt stop squeaking till a few days later when it finally worked its way through ...but now its fine ...Im not sure what your problem is though...
Same problem. I have the injector needle for my grease gun, but when I went to use it, it was to small for the end of the gun. Is there a smaller end available to fit the injector needle? Well, I used the needle to punch a tiny hole in the boot and just filled it with spray grease. The sound is gone, but I don't know for how long. The boot is ripped on 1 side, so who knows.
