Alright so i went and filled my bottle today. there is a race back home this weekend im going to. went and played with it a tad on the street see if all was working well. sprayed it in 4 short bursts and it ran smoothly. then on my way home i was coming to a passing zone everyone was doing 30 in a 55 zone so i was gonna use my spray to pass i move over hit the button the motor falls flat on its face. dont have a clue what happened. my guess is maybe my fuel solenoid did not open or something.

anyone have any ideas. it did not stumble and take off again it like literally felt like i was hitting the brake the motor seemed like it wanted to shut off. and i sprayed it in 2nd gear at 4000rpms so im pretty sure it was not fuel puddling or running too rich or anything. maybe a wire came loose for my fuel solenoid.

can someone help me out.

lol thanks

yea im really not sure what it is yet tomorrow im going to disconnect the lines running into the motor and test the solenoids out to see if they are both firing. cause i might have knocked something loose cause i was on a back road moving through there and that motion from side to side and then going over some train tracks may have knocked a wire loose or something. cause i dont understand it was running perfectly for me and then just quit. i want it to be ready for the weekend. its suppose to be a street racing thing back home that they are doing on the local airport that is out of service now.

us kids emailed the guy enough and i guess he is going to open it up for that this weekend. so its going to be like a racewars type thing.lol but no spray would equal no fun.

Check the solenoids to see if they are clicking when needed to be.

Should be pretty simple to check over all connections to make sure no wiring has came loose.

This thread reminds me that I need to either rig me gasket or find me a gasket before Friday for my bottle nut so I can get the bottle filled

yea its just dark and i dont feel like breaking anything lol. and i dont really want to blow up my car before i go home this friday.

my fuel solenoid is clicking just checked that out in my library parking lot by disconnecting my nitrous like revving the motor to 3k and then tapping the button. and the motor stumbles a lil. and i smell fuel. so maybe its the nitrous one ill check that tomorrow.

but yea it seems like something easy cause it was running fine and was very smooth but took off like a bat outta hell lol

Yeah deff sounds like your nitrous selenoid isn't firing. Fuels boggin the motor down when you hit the button.

Shut your NOS feedline, purge out the gas. Rev it to 3K if you have the MSD rev control. Tap the window switch if it clicks it works. For the fuel selenoid put your ear up to it and listen for the click. I think smokeurhondas right i think the NO2 selenoid isnt firing. Also besides ground being off or broke selenoid you could have to much bottle PSI if you have a gauge check it, mine did the same thing to me. Dont go above 1100 psi or it might stick. besides 1000psi comes on strong anyway.

yea ive already done that. disconnected main line for nitrous reved motor to 3k tapped button a few times motor bogged down and smelled rich so fuel solenoid is working. bottle pressure at the time of spraying was 950psi. that is what my heater is set at to. but ill look at the solenoid tomorrow for the nitrous to see whats going on. I think its just a loose wire cause it was working until i was rough on it around some turns. then it started giving me problems.

but thanks everyone for your help :SNSign:

Well home in Maryland for me is around the Germantown Area. If your not familiar it's about 25-30 min outside of DC off of highway 270. Now I'm up north of Baltimore in towson. What track do you normaly hit. It would be cool to meet up with you sometime and maybe run the cars. But I have to get the torque boxes welded up and see if my nitrous is fireing right. It starting cuttin in and out on me a couple weeks ago. Havn't had the time to check it out yet. I Think it's a nitrous pressure issue. Good luck checking your car out.
