I am trying to figure out what i want to do with my 68 coupe. Thinkin about a "R" valence and a cowl hood. any pics you guys have of the setups would be great. thanks!
that looks nice but do all of the R valences use the stock trim tha runs around the grill...not the trim that is on the grill, but the gray trim around the grill...it kina looks out of place...
I have it, though it is not on yet, as I am still in the build process, though the test fit is very good, and man does it look cool. I plan to "adjust" the look by molding in a flatter lower section. Scary to do that to such a nice piece, so I plan to make it first then do a test fit before making it permanent.
Yeah they are very nice well worth the price. I am dealing with lame 67 shelby fiberglass now. I am sure you can mold or shave the trim area to give it a cleaner look.
What about a 68 Shelby valance? I would like to trim on one and see if it would work. The Shelby bumper sits slightly forward of a standard Mustang so the top of the valance has a lip to fill the gap. I wonder if the lip was removed it would give the look w/o the trouble and cost of a full Shelby front end. http://mustangsunlimited.com/SubCat...y&subCategory=&Keywords=SH_BD&CatKey=SMUSTANG
