I'm just about to get a shiftlight. Was thinking of the Proform. Fairly cheap price. I dont want nothing fancy w/tach.

Could anybody post pics of one installed ? Also, do you like it ? Does it work good on a sunny day ?

Thanks.

I want to know too. Plus was it hard to install. I was also thinking or getting one with a new hammer shifter.

I just been on the corral with a "REAL" search option and found out that the Proform shiftlights are CRAP. A lot of people go for the Autometer of the raptorperformance.

I still would like to see pics of where you mount them though..

The raptor light is really nice. I have the autometer quick lite with rpm activated module though. here is where i have mine mounted

the way the mount is, and the location of where i keep my steering wheel keeps it aimed right at my face so i can see it always when it goes on. very nice, it matches well, and stays fairly hidden, most wouldnt know what it is

I have the Proform shift light. It works like it is supposed to and was an easy install. No "pill" kits to buy ever! I like it just fine.
The only so called problem I have had is that it will sometimes blink a couple times when sitting at idle at <800rpm. I am installing on a toggle switch to turn off the light when not racing. I will post a pic when I get to my other computer later.

it cost me 25 bucks because i found it on an online forum. i was planning on getting it already even before i found it online for that price, it just made it that much easier to buy. put the lite on the steering column, the module in the glovebox, and hooked up 3 wires - power, ground, and tach signal
