I have been looking between the Pro 5.0 and the Steeda Tri-Ax and I think I am going to go with the Tri-Ax and purchase it no later than tomorrow. Is there anywhere I can find a new one cheaper than $180 and what kind of handles do most of u guys put on the shifter? Thanks for your help.

Yeah unless you find a place with a discount, either of those shifters will run you $180+. I know my Steeda was right at $180.
I use the Steeda handle that was provided. You will love whichever one you buy, both are great shifters

Use the PartShopper discount and you could get the Triax shipped via Fed Ex 2nd day AIR for about 167.00.

And I know this sounds stupid but does the tri-ax come with a shift knob or do you just put the stock one back on/ buy another shift knob?

The Stock Shift Knob fits. I ordered the MRT T-Shifter at the same time I ordered my Triax.

Tri ax comes with a short throw handle but you will need your stock shifter handle and shifter boot for reinstallation

Pro 5.o shifter with a Triax Handle is quite popular too--it's suppose to be the best combo...

Steeda has gotten pretty picky about advertised prices lately. I'm sure if you called any of the above sites, they would be willing to offer you great sale prices. I know this because I work for a company that sells shifters and thats what we do. I'm not going to say which one though.
