need some 331 help..

so i just got my 5.0 about a month ago.. and it has a rebuilt 302 from a local machine shop.. 1339miles well today it decieds to lock up..

so plans for now are just to get a dss 331sx stroker kit.. there going pretty cheap.. but i have some question like what balancer do i use. or what fly wheel.. i am going to pay the extra for them to balance it. and am going with the 13cc dished so i can boost later,

the heads i am goin to run are a clean set of ported winsor jr heads harland 1.6 roller rockers and a ported cobra intake manifold. as for fuel some 30lb injectors maybe,

as for the motor in it, its the 93 ho with the trw forged pistons, arp head studs high flow oil pump e303 cam, ford racing lifters and push rods fully rebuilt i have no idea what happened.. i was driving it nice and i saw the oil gauge freak out so i pushed in the clutch and heard a knock then thats all she said..

If you're interested in a 347, I have one on eBay you can get for less than what it costs to build one.

This is already balanced with a new flywheel.

go with scat are you going 28 or 50 oz setup?....id go with powerbond steel balancer, fidanza billet steel flywheel is a nice peice i just had to put a new clutch in and was nice this fidanza flywheel has a insert that you replace for less than 50 bucks instead of having the flywheel resurfaced. good luck with build i would go with 30lb inj. and maybe go with a better cam
