alrite i just recently went carbed... I have a stock 83 mustang bottom end(non ho) non roller- i have whatever heads came on that motor ported and polished, and i have a torker 2 single plane intake, with a holley 600. How much of a difference is this motor from my stock 89 ho motor
PROBLEMS:
the oil smells like pure gas
my oil pressure constantly stays 1 line above the middle on the stock gauge(new sender), when cold,hot,idling hot
my car makes an annoying raspy sound when i get to about 5500, kinda like spark knock, is my car just not suppose to turn that high until i get a new cam in it, and what kind of cam would i have to use, or any reccomendations??
i have an annoying little tap that i cant find from the passenger side of the car, between 1000-2000 rpms its bad, after that the exhaust drains out the sound
I cant find the tap for the life of me checked exhaust a million times, made sure to check all clearances on the rockers and checked all the lifters???
