I promised I searched! Well I had a Duralast (autozone brand) that lasted me for a few years and it finally died on me. So I went to walmart and matched the cold cranking (cca) and cranking amps (ca). I dont remember what those numbers are but the walmart battery is not strong enough to start the car up.
so i just need the specs so i could get a new strong battery...Thanks

Hummm, that's odd becuase the Redtop I just bought has an 84 month warranty, 3 year 100% replacement, then the rest pro-rated.

67boo2, after whatever battey you decide on you may consider getting a BatteryMINDer to help keep it up. I have been using them for years and except for the Motorcraft Battery in the Mustang I have never had to replace one since I started using it.

Here's a link to the BatteryMINDer: http://www.thebatteryminder.com/12v133abatteryminder-p-29.html?osCsid=3eb435c5930eeb75bdf10c1aff0b7d40

I wonder if they changed the warrenty period. I had few die after a year and just left them on the counter. I actually 2 in my garage right now im not using.

man... everyone I know tht has them have used them forever. My buddy has an old chevy truck and hes had the same optima for like 10 years..its rediculous. Another guy I know has a f150 with a huge system. Last year at a NASCAR race, he left his radio on for 2 hours with the music way up while we tailgated...after the race, cranked right up no problem. most conventional batteries dont let you run a little radio and speaker setup for that long
