I have a 2000 GT with about 110,000km on it. Drive it all year round.

For the past couple weeks the engine has been making a pretty loud clicking noise, finally last weekend one of the spark-plugs blew out of the head and stripped all the threading to the point that a helix-coil wont even fit.

So, now i basicly need new Heads. What are your suggestions? I dont have tons of money to spend but if im going to have to drop 2-3000$ Canadien into the engine i want to get somewhat of a performance boost.

Thats sucks man. The same thing nearly happen to me, I had a tick for along time finally checked my plugs and had one finger tight. Tightened it up and so far it has went away. Patriot Heads sells ported PI heads for around $1200 with no exchange. You may want to check out foxlake.com
I believe a new complete head from Ford is less than $400 US, so you might want to consider that as well.

all the above are good choices, so i guess it just comes down to what your future power wants/needs are vs. how great of a deal you can find for your $$
