The 289 block is finally getting cleaned, and I just ordered a wicked set of Keith Black hypereutectic pistons. Even with 126k miles, the crank is in excellent condition and just needs a little bit of cleaning. I'm pretty damn excited about all this.
So with all the excitement, I'm making more decisions on how to build this motor. I am set on some AFR165's, looking into a CompCams 282s, and now it's time to look for an intake. I've checked out specs for the Performer RPM, Weiand Stealth, and X-Celerator intakes.
I need to know which intake would be good for a well mannered summer weekend driver, with an occasional trip to the strip so I can prove that Mustangs are still king of the road.
