There are some write-ups out there (I think Dman and/or Daggar has/have posted them before).

You'll want a ball joint press at a minimum. I might ask: how are your LCA bushings? If they look poopey, I'd just get new motorsport LCA's. They're a pretty nice deal and they have upgraded Ball joints.

Good luck.

Best writeup on the net! That's what I used when I replaced mine a couple years ago. It's pretty easy. Just make sure you rent a press to get them out of the control arm.

I'm with JT. I just put new Dana ball joints in my car.

I only did it becasue I was pressed for time. If I had more time, I would have DEFINITELY have just got some '03 Cobra arms (mine is SN95). I couldn't wait that long for the shipping. So yeah, if you can, just get new control arms that already have the joints with them.

BTW, that is a good article. Saved to my "links folder".

I put on the FRPP LCA a little over a month ago. MAJOR difference. it is easily one of the best upgrades i have done to the car yet. the steering response, feel, and quickness are night and day difference. The ride is a 100x's better as well.

I found an article on another forum but had to improvise a little. I beat the BJ out with a hammer and to put the new one in, i supported the bottom with a wood block and pounded the control arm. second one was tougher and i got it out with a gear puller. havent driven it yet though.
