Hey guys, put the trany in the car. Now it will only try to start when in neutral. My question is, when adjusting the shifter linkage, do I tighten the bolt when in park or neutral? I checked the adjustment on the neutral safety switch, it seems ok. Could the switch be bad?
OK, disconnected the shift lever. Put in neutral and set the alignment on the NSS. The car trys to start in neutral. When I put it in park it didn't try to start. I was under the car and had a friend try to start it. If I wiggle the shifter it tried to start in park. Any ideas what might be wrong?
