Never take advice on what to buy from a Honda guy. But seriously, that looks like something I might get pissed off enough to do. Why didn't he just drill it until he got down past the crown of the bolt?
another thing to do if you have the room and have this problem... wrap some sand paper around the lug and hammer on a socket about the same size. it will grip and get it out.. might take a try or 2 but ive used this on several locking lugs before i got my lug set. which hammers on to the lugs.
I like my sockets to take out stripped bolts and such. I just hope that guy doesn't plan on driving on that rim. Or the latter due to his intelligence.
old aluminum thunderbird wheels used to have a problem where the wheel would melt to the hub. they would have to cut them off and replace the whole hub and whatnot. ask some of the old mechanics about it.
