Went up to Richmond Dragway today to take another crack at 11s. I went 12.07 with a 1.65 60' two weeks ago. Today the DA was nearly the same and I got her to run an 11.92@112.75 with only a 1.69 60'. Still running a stock rearend, stock suspension, and stock intake/tb/plenum. Can't wait to get the rear done and some suspension work. Should be some 11.7s without having to add anymore horsepower!

I'm suprised your rear end hasn't busted to pieces with all of that traction. That is amazing dude! Keep it up.

3050 ? So what is still inside your car ? One aftermarket light weight racing seat ? I think our normal curb weight is ~ 3,400 pounds. Is that right ? Not trying to flame in fact congrats, just trying to see how you did it. Does you car see track use only ?

Frankly, I'm surprised the rearend hasn't busted into pieces yet either. lol I've been launching the car at 6000 rpm and it's held up OK so far. The rear is getting built this week though.

No problem 68 & 00. Yes, I've pulled a lot of weight out of the car. It had no backseat or passenger seat. The bumper supports have been pulled along with the front swaybar. AC, heat, stock carpet are all still in place. The car is driven to work and back, 40 miles round trip at least twice a week and I drive it just about every weekend. It's by no means a "real" race car.

Thanks,
Mike

Wow - congrats!!! Are you doing the rear end work or are you taking it to someone in or around Cheasapeake? I'm going to do gears soon - just looking for someone respectable in our area to do it.

Thanks again guys. I'm not real sure on what suspension parts I'm gonna get. Either HPM Megabite Jrs, or the UPR Pro Series.

NASA, I'll help out at Steen Racing a couple days a week, so I'll do the rearend buildup there. They do a great job on gear installs. I would recommend you giving them a call and see what kinda price they'll give ya. The number is 480-RACE(7223).

Hey guys,

Congrats with the 11 second run! I'm just cracked up that if most anybody posted this kind of time, he'd get flamed out of the room!! Somehow you've escaped the wrath!

congrats again,
Lance
