New best at the track today.

Today I managed to run a 13.4 @ 101.04 with a 1.80 60' time. I was dead set on getting the car into the 12s like this but its not gonna happen. Here are the specs on my WHOLE car, tell me what you guys think.

1985 hatchback GT
306 balanced
pro flo forged pistons
9.5:1 compression
TFS stage 1 cam
Weiand stealth intake
Holley 650 DP carb
No AC, NO smog
stock E5 heads with thermactor bump removed
T5 with stock replacement clutch
aluminum driveshaft
richmond 4.10 gears
SSM control arms
subframes
Draglites with Hoosier QTP
No sway bar
stock headers, offroad x w/ flows, stock 2.25inch crimp bent tail pipes

I think the E5 heads are killing me right now and The car will pick up a ton of power with a decent set of aluminums. The stock headers and tailpipes are hurting the times alot too.

Bad pic but you can see the slick wrinkling on the launch

lol..escort, i was gonna say that too... yeah nice hook pic... i love the wrinkle in the tires. that only means one thing balls to the wall~~!!! nice times, i would say even a set or iron heads would work to your advantage... as cold as it is where you are, you wont have to worrie about warping aluminium heads!! Nice tho~!
