I really dont think it will 60' any lower with the current power its making. I was leaving the line at almost 5000rpm with no spin or bog.

E7's I wouldn't think would be any better than the E5's (probly a waste of time swaping)

The E5s heads werent that bad, and the combo you have seems to make good power.

I would say get the 60' down and watch the times drop but if you feel thats all it has, might be time for some aftermarket heads? If your on a budget maybe a set of GT40s or 40Ps with a little work, and hello 12s!

Trust me it will, I know what a 1.8 60' feels like because its what I usually pull, I know it feels like a dead hook, but ive also pulled a few high 1.7* 60's, its possible, proper tire pressure, heating them up, and perfect rpm will make all the difference. I ran a 13.3 at 100mph with a 1.8 60', if your pulling 101mph its there.

My before 60' time on street tires was 2.16. That was leaving off idle.

As far as the 60' times are concerned. I was getting helped out by some other guys who are running alot faster than I am. I made 16 passes yesterday and all my 60 foots were around 1.8. When I go back next year I'll try again. I hope I can get it down some more, but I really doubt it. Oh well, I still had lots of fun

i think that with a full exahust, you should drop another .3-.5 off your time. let that bad boy breathe man.

really you think it will make that much of a difference? The motor only make 270hp at the crank, but I guess that gives me somethin to think about.

yeah, i think that a nice set of longtubes (more Tq), an off road X pipe and a nice set of 2.5" cat-back mufflers/tails will really allow your car to breathe so much better.

Ahhh I think you read my mods wrong. I have an offroad x already and 2.5inch flowmasters. The only stock parts are the tailpipes and the headers
