Here's the new timeslips from Sat Nov 12th. The track was Cecil County Dragway in MD. It was a track rental day for Super Stallions of the Net.

My previous best was 12.75 @ 107.95 with 1.82 60ft which I was stuck at for a year.

Yesterday I ran: 12.47 @ 108.89 1.72 60ft and backed it up with
12.48 @ 109.29 1.70 60ft
12.55 @ 109.12 1.78 60ft
After the last run, I got booted for no roll bar in a vert. Winter project: "ROLL BAR"

I attribute most of the lowered ET to the Bogart wheels & Et drags I bought used.
The times could have been lower but couldn't seem to get the 1.6 60fts I have been achieving with this combo. I bogged on every run so I kept raising the rpm on launch. I tried 4000, 4500, and 5000 and would still bog. I'm thinking 4.10's instead of my 3.73's would help.

(Photos in the links courtesy of Killercanary, thanks Paul!)

Wow, that is awesome Eric! Do you have anything done to the rear or stock posi/axles? A 4.10 swap is definatly a step in the right direction. Do you know where you were crossing the traps at? The 4.10's should have you crossing i'd say around 400-500 rpm higher.

Those seem like very good times and great MPH numbers. Your car looks fast just sitting there in those pictures with those Bogarts and MT drags. I like how your opponent on the first slip (Car #234) only gained 2.5 MPH from the 1/8 to the 1/4. haha, no roll cage maybe?

I did upgrade the axles with 31 spline mosers and the Auburn Pro diff. It's the t5 I'm beginning to worry about though.
As far as where I am crossing, I'm not really sure. I know it's considerably lower than my 6000 shift point. I have all winter to think about changing gears so we'll see. Right now I'm very happy with the car. It's running great even with a sub-standard driver.

Congrats again Eric! The car looked and ran GREAT yesterday. I will get the video to you soon, I have to get the camera from my parents and then transfer it to my computer. I won't be able to get it until tue/wed this week though, sorry.

Anyway, congrats again on some stellar runs... you just jumped ahead of a LOT of cars in the 1/4 list on the top of the forum. Welcome to the number 5 spot! (ahead of a lot of coupes no less)

I've been checking all day to see when you'd be posting your results!

Great! No rush on the video, I'm happy enough just knowing there is one out there.
I have some more work to do and A LOT more practice and I think I can drop a few more tenths. It's gonna be a long wait till spring...

Thanks again for the vid, pics and advice you have given.

I'm not sure what year or color fox body, it was too far ahead too see. Come to think of it, I had the three best runs of my life and didn't even come close to winning a race.

Nice impressive numbers, now knock off another .1 in the 60' and get lower in the 12's
