you know what's cool about that video?

-NOT- Filmed on a Closed Track .......

it was shot above Malibu, up along Mulholland Drive.

so I've driven some of the same roads.

Judging from what I hear from the video, this Bullit Mustang is a test mule for something big. I do like what I see so far.

It does sound good for a show room floor Mustang How does the computer know what octane fuel is in the tank if you don't tell it
Is there some sort of filter and sampler on the car that can continuously test the fuel?

probably something along the line of knock sensors. if it detects pinging, it retards the timing to compensate. thats my wild guess though.

GOOD JOB FORD!

I would buy that car and leave it alone. Not for collector's sake but because it has everything it needs to be a fun yet tolerable daily driver. Especially on the roads here in SOCAL.

I love the GT5000 steering wheel and seats, they tightened up the suspension yet didn't slam it so that it's still smooth, the clean look is nice. More and better responsive power all in stock CARB/SMOG friendly packaging.

If were to buy another Stang right now, and a manual, this would be the one.

Ah, a classic indeed. I never get tired looking at that video. The Charger sounds good, but the Stang sounds een better.

The Bullit is to debute the new fuel sensor system, it will automatically detect what octane is being pumped thru it and recalibrate automatically.
Edit: I think they called it Adaptive Spark System.

As for the billit shifter they are putting them in the GT/CS's already. I am glad to see they finally put the seat belt brackets in.

yes, but i assume that it is some advanced knock sensor. this is all speculation. if someone can find some reliable technical data on this, please post up.
