My GT is the same color...we bought ours last Labor Day and couldn't be more pleased with it!
I was also considering the Camaro and Challenger but were sold us on the Mustang after looking at used cars- 2 or 3 year old Camaros, Challengers and Mustangs. Every used Mustang i looked at still felt tight and felt solid, ran perfect, a couple had 70k miles and to me felt like a new car, and had not a spot of corrosion...whereas the Camaros and Challengers felt and looked worn. The door handles on many felt weak, as if they might pull off from normal use...not to mention engine tick in a couple rt and ss that I drove- maybe just poor maintenance from the previous owners...And when looking at new RT's almost every car i looked at had some kind of issue- trunk lining falling off, body panel alignment issues, etc...it just seemed that the people working on the Mustang assembly line did a superior job building my car than the Chrysler and GM people did on theirs- the Mustang is a stronger and more durable car.
Our oldest son also bought a new GT with PP after coming home from the Army and, let's say he drove it with enthusiasm than traded it in as he is now a family man- he did pretty good on trade in too!
We've had our Mustang for 1 year and we are grateful to have it! We belong to the Russian Orthodox Church in our area and had our Priest bless it...He retired from Ford and used to enjoy fast cars in his youth. After blessing the car he very much enjoyed punching the pedal out the driveway! Our Church loves fast cars and mine is not the only Mustang there on Sunday!
