Hey guys, have never really been much into keeping my cars spotless as Ive never had a car that I wanted to be spotless (trucks and such). But now that Ive got my mustang with a nice paint job, wheels and brakes, I want to keep them looking great. Just looking for good products for everything around the car.

For the wheels Ive heard the mothers powerball is good, so I want to give that a try. I havnt went and looked at it, but is it good for chrome? thats what my wheels are. Also is there any type of special cleaner you guys use for your rotors and calipers?

Now for car wax what do you guys use with good success? Any special tools you guys use either?

Last thing would be paint touchups. There are some small rock chips etc.. on the front that I would like to touchup. You guys just use the generic stuff that they sell at autoparts stores? The color is pearl white so Im hoping I can find a color close to that. Anyways thanks for any responses, Im new to this and just looking for some good advice/feedback on stuff.

Meguiars NXT products are really good and easy to use. I really like the protectant. Also, a little more work but a great shine with Meguiars #7 and #26.

Just use good microfiber pads and towels.

I would go to a dealer for the touchup paint so you get the right match.

OCDetails.com has a great article on OTC products to use. Give the article a good read it will steer(sp) you in the right direction.

Also, check out Meguiars.com. You can answer some questions about what you are trying to accomplish and they will give you recommendations.

And try Autogeek.net. And the sponsers on the page, especially autopia.

Check out www.zainobros.com. You can't buy this stuff at Walmart, but it is the deepest shine, protects well, and doesn't leave that white chalky crap in all the cracks. I started using it about 3 years ago. My Vert is 9 years old now with all original paint, still winning shows next to much newer cars. Plus, it is easy to use!
