Code 34 KOEO, KOER WONT GO AWAY!!!!!
I just purchased an '88 mustang lx 5.0, I noticed when I had brought it home and inspected everything that the air pump assembly was not all connected. I connected everything and decided to run the codes. I received codes 34 and 81. I have done all the research on both codes and am still confused on what to do. I do not have a hand air pump so I am limited at testing the EGR valve. Also would code 81 (bad TAD) cause a code 34, or no? I am thinking the EGR valve needs replaced and same with the TAD but I do not want to be buying things i do not need since I am tight on cash. I am also in process of trying to pass emissions, otherwise I would just eliminate the whole assembly. Any help on fixing this would be appreciated.
