I think I fired a coil awhile back when I was having a misfire. When I had my car tuned that's what I was told so I was curious about if anyone's changed theirs and what brands are good to go with. I still gotta go out there and check the volts on the car, but just in case.

There was a guy on here who had MSD's and then he switched to Granatelli's because they generated more power apparently. They are pricey tho.

That's what I've heard too. Now I just gotta find the best price. Ideas? The only place I've seen them is Americanmuscle.com.

Tried calling GMS directly to see if they cut you a deal?

I fired a coil too , then upgraded to MSD .
They run nice with S/C , no issues after 6 months and some trackdays

I have MSD's and I really did not notice a jump in hp or fuel economy, but it seems to just drive better, smoother, etc.

I had the MSDs and two sets of GMS COPs.
Both are Definately improvement over stock, the GMS Hard Core Series have higher voltage than the MSD.
