place a block of wood in between your jack and control arm(if you haven't already) and apply upward pressure to the ball joint. this caused the ball joint to "sieze" itself in the spindle and not spin, just like it would when it is tight.
shock and tie rod not connected yet, maybe that is my problem?? It just look difficult to attach shock before spindle (no clearence for torque wrench). I guess I'll give it another go tomorrow. Any more tips?
