just got this cowl cover ,stopped the water from leaking in and says improves airflow to cowl hoods... what do you guys think of it?




tryed to insert a pic but not sure if i did it right .

I've never seen that before, but it doesn't look like it fits good.

It also virtually eliminates airflow over the heater core and A/C core, since that's where they both take their air.

i could have went outside and cut that shape out of a cardboard box. then spray painted it matte black and put 4 holes in it. thats about what it looks like to me sorry, hope it was cheap.

i'm on the fence on this one. I want to like it, but without some more pics at betetr angles I can't say i like it.

well holcomb motorsports has them for $79 plus shipping idk what this guy paid but looks like it would be more for drag cars or something...

On the fence about it.

Does the heat work with it's main source of airflow blocked off?

The more i look at it the more unfinised it looks. Needs a beveled edge like the stock cover to flow with the other lines in that area.

I dont really care for it, looks more like its a piece for a dedicated race car.

I like them on a clean looking car. I dont like the turbo wing at all.

it wasnt screwed down in the pic i took fits nice and it does have a nice scalloped edge just a bad pic. once it was screwed down with the wiper in place it looks cool i think. and yes the heat works i dont have ac so i would assume if the heat works then so does the ac? paid 50$ on ebay and it served its perpose of keeping the water off my floors. i know 2 other guys that have them and they like them.

Im planning on having a nice one made from sheet metal for my car and having louvers cut into it. We'll see how it turns out.
