I just thought i would see what you guys thing about my new stereo system, which was paid for from an insurance deal because my car was scratched and robbed from during a robbery at the place i had put in my much smaller stereo earlier this year.

I have 4 Brutus 12" subs (500 watt rms)
1 Brutus 2k watt rms sub amp (super class D)
1 Zeus 175 X 4 amp mids/highs amp (class D)
Kenwood Deck
Xstatic Batcap 400 and a Supercap (35 farads)

And i don't car what you think, with a mic it showed we gained 2 db's with the supercap.

Also the box is completely removable for when i go to the track. Just have to take out the center console and seats. lol But for now i have much more traction on the street.

Also everything lights up... I will get pics of it at night. So i have an excuse for all the lights in my car.. NO Rice HEAR...

BTW... I took 1st today at the MECA contest. I only hit 144.5 db's but fortunatly i was 4 db's higher then the second place guy. (only 3 in my class M2) and i got the PHAT CAR award .
This was a brand new system and i need to play with it and change the vents up and stuff to see if i can get it louder for competions. Otherwise it is a great wide range box.

All I can say is WOW! Hope you have a remote volume control or do you wear a insulated helmet so your head doesn't explode.

The seats are from Aztecha Racing. Not sure if i spelled that correctly. I bought them for 300 a piece.

The one thing I love about this box is that it makes me think im in a vet when i get in because a wall is right behind me.

144.5 db's isn't too bad for my first time ever at a sound competition.

Damn that looks awesome, isn't it at 150 DB's that you can stop a beating heart?

WOW...Thats some serious tunes...and a nice install to boot..

How much did you have to upgrade the electrical/charging system...your Voltmeter must be jumping like a VU meter..

I had put a 170 amp alternator on it last fall. But the capacitor and batcap keep it to were my voltage gauge doesn't move. Actually i have the front fused with a 60 amp fuse and it doesn't pull enough current from the front battery to pop it. Yet another reason i believe in capacitors. At night my lights don't even flicker with the song.

And the remark about the 150 dbs stopping a heart... Don't know, but i do know if you reach that amount during competition that your disqualified if you are in the car. Other wise you have to have a remote or leads on your head unit so you can adjust the stereo from the outside. Which makes me wonder whats the use of going to or over 150 if your not suppose to be in the car while its playing But im sure thats the same with horse power...

Only one person hit over 150 and he trailored the car in. The guy who installed my stereo had a 3000 watt rms amp and 6 12's and only hit 148.

The world record right now like 179 i think for car audio. I have heard that 170 is the noise on the luanchpad for the space shuttles.
