Goal of 9.11ET my daughters Bday...will take awhile but hey thats what goals are for. I am shooting for bottom 10s on the lil MPT70 so we'll see and next season upgrade turbo and inj's and push her.

I just need something to occupy my time, I'm going crazy.

Will still be a street car, but with some real attitude.

arent glides a 2 speed?

Yes a 2spd and 1:1 just like your 5spd in 4th gear.

The turbo is gonna like this trans, lots of LOAD!

Awesome man! Glides are one of the best drag race transmissions built because they don't hit as hard off the line as others, plus you only need to shift once leaving less margin of error...good to see your back in the game!

Thanks everyone, this is all for my daughter!

Paul they claim the MPT70 is good for 800bhp and I have went 133mph on less than 10psi in a 3600lb race weight car.

Thanks everyone...the goal is a ways away but hey thats what a goals are for right?

Spent today going over my cage plans since I'm doing it myself, got the quote for three 20 ft sticks of mild steel (1 5/8 120dom) I also talked to the welder that will be welding the cage up for me.
Looks like 100$ for all the mild steel and 200$ to have it welded up purty so it will pass cert. A close friend and I will be doing all the tube bending (he has a hyd pipe bender), notching all the pipes and tacking it in place and then the welder can just do his thing. We have a few tricks we plan to do on the cage but we wont start any real progress till the end of Oct.

The TKO600 setup is gone and luckily I will have enuff to order the Glide/UltraBell/Converter by late Sept.

The A4 is already being machined and will have pics to come of everything as time goes by.
