new flasher-no blinkers

so i finally got a new flasher last night and put it in but still no blinkers,whats the deal.any insight?

there are 2 flashers in the car..u want the one under the steering colum not the one in the fuse box

yeah i replaced the one under the column,not the one in the fuse box?

replace that one too..it worth a ****...when i got my 89 last yr the blinkers were all messed up...i replaced the one under the coulum and it fixed it...the one in the fuse box it for hazards i believe do those work?

yup,hazards work.i was thinkin multi function swith.its **** load of money from ford.

I have a similar problem I think the MFS for the 93 is about $140 from ford

where is that relay located under the column do you have a part #?

mine I have hazards but no headlights or turn signals

i have a mfs switch that is neary brand new from a 92 but the plug is diff then an 88 style by a little.

Do your HVAC controls still work?

If not, I would change the ignition switch (mounted on the bottom side of the steering column once the plastic is off on my '92).

i had similar problem. turned out to be a loose connection at the ignition switch. i had blinkers with the key in the "on" postion, but none in the "run". i have an 86 vert. don't know if they are the same

there is a TSB on the ignition switch, its a recall os if its burned and you dont see the TSB safety recall sticker some place there take it to Ford for them to install it.
