I think we would need some more information before we could give much advice. Can you tell us what is happening and what the car actually is (i.e. V6, V8, manual or auto). I've also moved your thread to the appropriate section for more exposure.
I suppose, if you've not already, you can start by draining the fuel tank and adding fresh fuel. You will also need to clear the fuel lines of all old fuel.
