Hello everyone!
I just bought my first fox-body Mustang this past Monday. So far it"s been great. It does need some work but is in overall great condtion. This is my first time using forums as well. My Dad recently passed away from cancer and he was go to mechanic for advice. I thought these forums would be another great place to get ideas and learn from some experts. I know the basics but am always looking for good advice. Anyway, I'm looking forward to working this project and hopefully getting to know some of yo in the process.
Chris

I noticed you live in Crestview. I lived in Fort Walton Beach for 11 years. I used to be a member of the Emerald Coast Mustang Club. This picture is all I have so far. It's pouring rain outside right now. I'll post more soon.
Thanks

Very Nice first fox Chris! Welcome to the forums.

And sorry to hear about your dad. That's got to be tough.

See ya around.

thanks guys. This is also my first convertible too.
It has been a little rough. My dad and I were pretty tight. I grew up around old muscle cars. He loved Mustangs too. I've owned a few over the years. I had a 1965 coupe several years ago as well as a 2000 GT. I've always loved the fox-bodies though. I'm an engineering manager for a D.O.D. contracter and I know a guy that does machine shop work. I've got some ideas for some custom parts/accessories that I'm going to design in CAD and have him fabricate for me. It's going to be a lot of fun.

Very nice and clean 'vert man. I have met a few guys from ECMC at local shows but I have not yet joined. It seems like lately I have been spending more time fixing my stangs then driving them.

Post up some details on the fox when you can. Anyways congrats on the new Fox

Well, I've had my Fox for one week and so far so good. This thing is so much fun to drive. I took the wife out on a "date" in it the other night. It's like being a kid again.

Nope. She's been painted once. It's called something like titanium frost metallic (silver). I like it too.
Thanks

Great find, definitely one of the cleanest convertibles of its age I've seen.

You couldn't have picked a better way to honor your dad's memory.
