Sonic Blue

Nice car man!... But as for the mods, I would definately go with 4.10's and a short-throw shifter (preferrably MGW or Steeda).

They say 4.10's tach a lot higher on the interstate but they really don't. I have 3.73's in my car right now, but I drove a good friend's 02 GT 5-spd with 4.10's on a 45 mile interstate drive to my house and it barely tached any higher. Not enough to even make me think about keeping the 3.73's

Performance/Power Mods: (#1 first, but your choice after that.)
1.Pro 5.0 or MGW Shifter
2.X-Pipe-Your choice of brand
3.Exhaust-Something with a "straight thru" design
4.Hand Held Tuner-SCT or Diablosport
5.Gears-FRPP 3:73's at least

As for the suspension a Basic Package would be in this order:
1.Struts/Shocks & Springs
2.Full Length Subframe connectors
3.C/C Plates(if necessary), Rack Bushings
4.Lower Control Arms
5.Swaybars
6.Panhard Bar*
*Not a Bolt On Item, requires welding.

i'd do PHB and trilink and remove swaybars. but thats just me. also, the PHB does not require welding in the slightest. but the subframes do. might want to re-asterisk your post.

Torinalth,
Ive seen the PHB installed at two different(good) shops and they both welded the chassis plate, and recommend it. Also the tri-link is overkill on a street-only car that isnt supposed to be diriven like a race car on public roads. Just like a torque arm setup is overkill for street only-applications. Not olnly that but you've just severly limited where you can get work done on your car(and labor costs) after you install a torque arm or tri-link(For those of us who dont work on our cars.)

Also swaybars are a good end of the road tuning tool.

id learn how to drive that car before you mod it. Get to know where the power is so that its predictable.

I recomend drop springs and underdrive pulleys though.
i also put 1inch wheel spacers in the back cause i hate how tucked the rims look stock.

MGW shifter. I had my car for a year and a half before I did it and look at it as a year and a half wasted. Easy install, too.
Nice car, and congratulations, the color is awesome.
