if you don't want to mod it too bad, just go with non-engine mods. Subframes, shifter, maybe a catback just for the sound. Little things that will make the car better on a whole.
I was actually thinking about pulleys, air box, x-pipe cat back and the shifter. Gotta go a little faster I'll let my friend guide me on this one. He knows a ton about these cars.
