Hello all, I've been lurking here for a while and finally joined. I have an '89 GT hatch that has been 351 swapped with a nitrous plate. I'm a certified welder/fabricator if anyone has any welding questions I'd be glad to add my input.

Welcome to stangnet
There's alot of us hang'n down in the fox forums.

I have a welding question:
Why does the fire chief get mad at me when I try to weld wood?

Welcome to Stangnet.

A certified welder? Hot dog, we want you with us!

Look around the '79-'95 subforums, that's where us fox nuts hang out.

BTW, don't listen to JR normally. He seems to be intelligent, it just only creeps out once in awhile.

I'm getting ready to put a new floor pan, frame rail, subframe connectors and torque boxes in my little POS. Be a critic for me. I'm a painter by trade, not a welder.

Post a picture or two for us of your mustang.

I'm glad you joined.

Ive had good luck with the Lincoln xcaliber oak rod in the older buildings lol.

The white GT is the car I kept, I bought it in Mass if anyone recognizes it I'd love to know its story. I drove the red '93 for a summer, until I blew the governor in the AOD. I bought everything to swap it to a t-5 and a 351 cleavland cj, but traded the car. I wasn't a fan of the vert. The cleavland will probably find its way into the GT eventually.
