I have a set of BBK chrome shorties and all they do is leak. Does any one know a brand of shorty header that I can put on and it won't leak????

Yea BBK's are junk. When it comes to headers pretty much anything that is expensive is the best. So a few choices are FRPP, Bassani, and JBA. I have the Bassani headers, but they are very large and require the engine to be jacked up in order to install them. I installed mine when the engine was apart so that made it much more easy.

Bassani headers own!...i have them as well...and LOVE them...but they are very big and you really do need to jack the motor up to get em in....trust me that you need to...i wish i took a picture of what happend when i tried to get the passanger side in without jacking the motor up...it got STUCK between the inner fender and the valve cover...crazy funny...

I got a set of Ford Racing ceramic coated ones used, and they work great. No leaks or discoloration. I would recommend getting some Stage 8 locking header bolts and Percy's dead soft aluminum gaskets (reuseable) for the headers, they seem to solve/prevent some leak problems. I have both on mine.
