I had 2 different pairs of ultra clears and could not keep the headlights from fogging up! Too bad because I like the look, went to the Late Model Resto Economy light set with clear sidemarker, they look good and don't fog like the Ultra Clears. Late Model did offer to replace the Ultra clears with another pair but after two sets doing the same thing it was time for something else.

Did you run a bead of clear silicone around where the lens and housing meet? That is the solution... cheap and easy insurance...

I have the smoked ultras and I love the way they look, how ever I had to reseal the pass side light with in the 1st week because water ran inside when it rained a blew out my bulb. Then about 6 months later had to do the drivers side for the same reason. I had a hell of a time getting the beams lined up also. I love the corner lights so I may look for a better smoked ultra clear headlight. I know CJ Pony Parts has been offering refunds or exchanges for sets that have failed.

Have a set of them as well. Wasn't sure I was going to like them when I first saw the car advertised in the local autotrader (previous owner installed them) but they really grew on me. Not only do they look great, but they put out a noticeable amount of additional light over the stockers. My nephew has a set of new stock replacements and lining the two cars up side by side, it's obvious that the Ultra Clears are cast a brighter, more crisp light array.

That’s about where our similarities stop when we line them up though. His Mustangs a lot faster than mine.

ill advised
