I have a 86 notch with a 302 on 8lbs of boost powerdyne supercharger car ran great now it starts up and runs rough can barely drive it down the road it’s popping and bucking it won’t go running like crap. I’ve ran a good amount of diagnostics on it I’m dumbfounded by the situation as I’ve worked on these cars for years and it’s just got me stumped. The things I have looked at are: tps (good) salt and pepper shaker connection is good. IAC good. MSD box good. Grounds are good. MAF tested the wiring and good and cleaned the sensor. FMU is good. Plugs look ok. Brand new 24lb injectors all good. Valve train is good. I’m not an idiot not look for sarcastic either. Just need another set of ears. Thank you.
"Sarcastic " is my middle name......now that's outta da way.
What about fuel pressure?
What about tire pressure?
Had to through that in
You sure that MSD box is working correctly?
What diagnostic test been done?
You already mentioned a MAF so, how was the conversion done on this car? Recheck any MAF conversion wiring patches.
Just like @General karthief , I am leery of MSD boxes. I've lost count of the number of times that [good] MSD boxes ended up being the culprit and would suggest removing it from the equation even if it's temporary. They're not needed on a Fox with an ignition system in good working order, anyway.
