Whaoo, saved once again by the warranty. Car needed a new intake manifold - $900 cost, $50 out of pocket (deductible). Hey what kind of intakes does Ford Motorsport make for performance?

The 2001 SE intake would be perfect...if you had PI heads - http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=6126
Or check out the 96-98 High Flow intake, but it has an MSRP of $1695.00 plus the install kit for $325.00.

Head over to http://www.fordracingparts.com/home/home.asp and seach for "intake"

Hey53, just curious. How many miles did you have when your intake blew? I have 55,000 on my 97 and I'm hoping someone like C&L gets a lower ready soon so I don't have to fabricate a PI intake. "Custom made, custom fitted, where the fuct did you git it" --- Ludicris.

I had about 93k on mine. Not sure if it blew before I bought it or not at 43k. but got 50k+ out of it.

Thanks, 53. I'm so darn fickle, I'll probably buy something else before I see those kind of miles. There is a red Mach 1 at a local dealer with 4,000 miles and every time I drive by I have to stop in and look at it. When the salesmen see me pulling in they all go inside and hide...
