I have one on both cars. They are simple to install (if you don't have A/C).
Move radiator back towards engine out of the way, set IC in place. I used springs to mount mine. It floats w/o touching anything.
W/ my LX which has AC, it's mounted behind the condensor radiator, then an electric fan, then the radiator, all in a shroud.

The reason they are popular for Mustangs is we are cheap and they fit perfect. There are better ones for sure, but they do a great job.
