What did that set you back? I got my battery checked last week. They said it's good for another year or two.

Price a Carbon Fiber driveline compared to an aluminum one. CF is pricey.

My engine bay mods are done Russ. I'll just buy a Motorcraft battery for $80 when I need one. My next mod is rims and tires, which I have 0 money set aside for.

No but it takes over 10 lbs off the front of the car. The lighter the car the faster it goes.

That's cool.

Now get a tubular suspension in there and really take notice.

I have thought about that but from what I have read the car would ride like a lumber truck.

?? ?? What are your reading? I don't mean to pick on ya, but I'm not sure you are getting correct info. My car rides great, and the only sound I get from the suspension is from the rear UPR kit. No rubber bushings, but it does not squeek, just loud bumps from the reflectors on the highway. I have more squeeks and bumps in my 4cyl daily driver with stock suspension....

Also, as for the $322 battery, I believe you could have done a really slick rear mounted battery for that price that would have taken all the weight off the front, and put it over the rear tires....

Just my $.02...

Nate

Your not picking on me. If we all thought the same the world would suck. The stock battery in my Mach has 540 cold cranking Amps. This little battery has 1,380 cold cranking Amps and weights half as much. When I started the engine I could not believe the starting power. They should have called it David. Like in David and Goliath.

24kmach,

When I click on the link that you gave for the battery it comes up as $229.99.

Why was your $322? am I looking at the wrong one?

I bought their charger, $70 and the install kit was the balance. The total came to $322. The little devil of a battery is working great.

thats a lot for a battery but if you think about it, an optima is what about 180? Plus they dont put out that much CCA's.

Looks pretty cool dude. Not sure it was necessary but its pretty nice

Thanks. I try to buy top of the line parts for the car. It takes me awhile to save the coin but I like the best unless I have to sell my soul for it. Wait a minute. What did you say you would trade for my soul?
