I got a 2014 Mustang GT and bought a new key fob from ford. When I try to program the fob ( cycle on-off eight times) and when I press any of the buttons it should lock and unlock to confirm but it just beeps the horn. Does anyone know what could be wrong?
That's not how you program those, You need two master key to program a 3rd, if you don't have 2 then you need to get the key programmed using licensed software.
