My current manifold on my 97 GT is leaking anti-freeze really bad, and the shop told me I would have to get a new one to stop the leak, anyways, I was looking around at prices and saw a few performance manifolds that say they give you up to 20 more hps. So I was wondering if anyone here has any experince with these or knows of any good brands that are less expensive. Thanks.

Just get a stock one, they are $150 and you can install it yourself.

The aftermarket ones will hurt a stock car without serious head/cam work or at least forced induction..The OEM piece is actually pretty good flowing, and the plastic is good for heat convection..just weak for backfires or insane boost.

You could consider a PI intake manifold as well

It takes a bit of modification (RTV to seal it up) though will give you a performance gain.

Karkraft had them for cheap and likely still do
