Hey guys and gals I've been lurking around here for awhile now (I know how some of you guys are when it comes to thread de-railment and having fun) and decided to finally make an account.I bought my '89 GT back in November 100% completley bone stock it even had the stock 1989 plug wires and air silencer still in it.Only thing wrong with the car is it had a decent hit in the passenger quarter panel but it's now all fixed which gave me the oppurtunity to put LX tailights and a cobra rear bumber on.Right now it's in my school(i go to a vocational hight school)because i'm putting 3:73's in it.But by summer it's going to be painted It's going to be a Black and Orange two-tone scheme that should look great.Anyway here's some pics that I hope work.

Yeah I ditched the air silencer but I still have it.And I wanted a stck car but all the ones by me were beat and/or overpriced so I settled for an auto.I think it was a steal for $2500.After a tune-up and cleaning the IAC it runs like brand new.The car was never beat on because all the clutches in the Limited Slip are barley worn despite being 18 years old.

nonthing a 5 speed swap cant fix...

Thats pie looks good but aperently someone got to it before me lol and I was thinking of a 5-speed swap but i'd rather use the money and buy a stall converter and stuff.Besides I'll be glad i got an auto when i'm in traffic and when my buddies stick car destroys another clutch or syncro.

EWW LX TAILS?? IMO putting lx tails on a GT gives it a tacky look and doesnt look right to me

and dont be afraid of the AOD, all they need is a converter and shift kit or valve body and your rocking. i used to dream of a stickshift and i hated my AOD but once i got my t5 swap done i came the the realization the 5 speed isnt all "GREAT" that i thought it was, its alot more fun yes but its more fragile and just spins the tires that much easier.
