I'm old....but new.
Been off the boards for awhile because of my time in S.Korea...to you old timers I should be familiar!
And yes I'm getting back to my old self...post-a-holic

No, The Tower SHoppes of Davie. The plaza is located at University Drive and I-595. A hundred plus people go there and show off their cars..There are stangs, vettes, oldies, trucks, pt cruisers, and of course ricers!

EMBER GHOST: Welcome and good luck with the car find.

RC

I know exactly where that is, I used to live all over Sunrise. :D
I left in 01', How long have you guys been hanging out there?
btw I used to love hanging that on ramp to 595 and University DR.
Damn I miss Padrino's excellent Cuban Rest.

Well i've been on for a few months myself, but no formals though. I'm 26 married and in the Air Force. I just moved to virginia from Ft. Walton Beach FL. I'm Diffinetly missing florida. I've got 95 vert of course. Started with supension, half azz exhaust and those big meats in the rear---black bullet 10.5 with 315's. I'll hopefully have pics to post this weekend! I'm looking to do a sleeper....powered by kenne bell.....Everything i do to the car, I tell the wife it'll increase gas mileage. We'll see how long that works out!!

94sc50, your car is sweet!! I had it up as the wallpaper on my computer for the longest....i've been curious on how much a complete paint job would be. Nothing wild....thinking about a orange with a slight pearl. I think it would look hot with my black top, interior and my black bullits.

Thanks dude :D
I paid $10K for the paint job on my car and the paint alone was around $6500.
I'm not sure what a paint in that color would cost or the labor involved.
You're right though that color you want would look sweet on your car. :nice:
Where are you located in VA?

Hello everybody. I was debating on whehter or not to post in this thread because I have been here since October posting and such, but I guess I can formally introduce myself and my stangs. I am 23 and I bought my first stang when I was 18 years old from the great state of south carolina. She is still running strong with 106k on her. I joined the Army to serve my country proudly. I am now in England trying to represent for pure American muscle. I just bought another stang, a 93 5.0 LX with only 73k on it and still in stock trim. I have so much to do but it's hard being overseas trying to get parts, work, etc. :( Anyway glad to be here with fellow stangers who can appreciate an american icon.

Name's Orlando.

94SC50 you're on here bout as much as I am. Great place to hang out eh?
Yes it is a cool place to hang. :nice: I'm here all day and I've got a couple computers going while I work on my car in the garage. I like to help as much as possible b/c I've been there on most of all problems on these cars and it is a wealth of info on here. :D

JR your car is NICE! and that's a long freakin' mod list. Did you not like the FR500's? I thought they looked good chromed with your paint.

Welcome to all the new members!

My formal intro: Went from a 300hp Trans Am ('87) that ran low to mid 13's to my stang which needs a new paint job, but is mechanically sound, and has that sweet mustang tone :p . With money comes a new daily driver, which will equal a KB for the stang --with more money of course (JR appreciate the guinea pig block testing with the boost, be sure to post what splits it :) ). Do my own mods with my Dad's help (he was a mechanic for awhile) for some things...have to do it at my house cause my b@stard apartment complex won't let me work on the car on the lot. My Dad also just got a big new compressor  so I'll be around the house more now...

Dunno that I'm that new per-say but I haven't been on the board for a long while.

I'm Dale, I live in Lake Zurich, IL and drive a 94 Mustang GT.

The car is in the process of getting re-assembled with a FTI Cam, AFR 165's and a GT-40 intake. I'm shooting for high 12's N/A. I still need to get 'er started and get a dyno tune. Hello all!
