Hey guys, I am new to the Mustang community. I recently bought a 2010 Mustang GT. I know I should have gone for the new 5.0, however, I couldn't afford it. I am very happy with my new mustang. I was wondering if you guys can guide me and help me with some of the better parts website and companies. I owned a Volkswagen previously, so I am only familiar with german parts, and have no idea where to even start looking. Thanks.

It kinda depends on what you're looking for, but here are some good starting points. There are plenty more, though.

Congrats on the new ride! You may want to start small with your mods and luckily a small mod that's easy to do yourself and nets you a nice amount of power is a cold air kit and performance tune. There are a few good choices, for the most part you can't go wrong. If you're looking for suspension upgrades there are a few choices there too, as for who is best well depends on what you're looking for.

Welcome! I think you'll find Mustang parts much more available and cheaper than parts for any German car. I would try to do the upgrades yourself is possible and save yourself lots of $. Most of the usual mods are fairly easy to do.

you know, the new mustang v6 is just as fast as the 2010 gt, could have gotten a brand new one for less then your 2010....

@mygg after just a preliminary look at mustang parts they are substantially cheaper than the german parts!

@dwilkens I know that the hp on the new v6 is close to that of the 2010 gt, but i still paid a lot less for the gt than i would have for a v6.
