New paint

well im going to start getting ideas and prepping for some new paint.
im going to keep it black..but want to either have silver or darker blue in there.
im not to awfully sold on 2 tone on this car, but an "overlay" like a thin metalic sheet of blue or silver, or even both ontop of the black, in my imagination would look super sweet.

i have painted metal and a bumper cover w/ enamel, no runs..but i didnt sand the cover and of course it had peel.

any ideas on color scheme and tips/tricks and how to would be great.

since i do have a few dents/dings here and there, im going to have to learn body work too.

i have done everything but the bottom end on this car (did it once and the bearings got ate up so i let a pro did it the 2nd go around)
and want to paint it.

so if you got anything to add or say, spill it. thanks!

heres how it looks now.

if you steal my idea, i'll hunt you down! haha. It has blue pearl throughout the car with ghost stripes on the hood, roof, and trunk.

maybe something like my car:

:jaw:

since im gonna try and do it myself, and i dont have a paint booth... i probably wont be able to get that drastic...but i do love that ALOT!

im still really green when it comes to car paint, so im not sure if i want to tackle ghost type stuff yet or not. theres a guy local thats on another board and he works at a body shop, so he might be able to give me enough advise that i could do somehting like that.

heres what im thinking at this point... i dont know how hard it would be but the image in my head was super sweet.

Black base with a light screen of darker blue (almost like a mystic type deal)
where its more noticeable at different angles and such.
maby even a hint of metallic sparkle somewhere...

the thing is..how hard is it actually do do, and how much does paint and needed supplies run for the whole car...
